For those individuals we serve, it with with sadness that I announce the passing of Yvette Velezquez our Administrative Assistant/Intake Specialist. She passed away quite suddenly on Thursday August 8th and the heavens have gained another angel. Those who knew Yvette will remember her kind and gentle soul and how she tried to help everyone that she could. She would always come in singing “Good Morning” then her next words were “Make it a Great Day!”
To tell you she has left a hole in our lives is an understatement. She will be missed. The family has started a Go Fund Me Page as they try to deal with the tragic loss of their mother, grandmother and friend. They will be taking her ashes to Puerto Rico and have a service there, but her work family and friends will be holding a celebration of her life sometime this month. Date to be announced soon. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this most difficult time.
