Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 2026

The Affordable Homeownership Foundation Inc. (“AHF,” “we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through ahf.today, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

  • Information you give us. When you use our contact form, volunteer sign-up, class registration or online intake form, we collect what you enter, such as your name, email address, phone number and message.
  • Donation information. Donations are processed by Zeffy, a third-party donation platform. Zeffy collects your payment and contact details under its own privacy policy. AHF does not see or store your card number.
  • Technical information. Like most websites, our site and its service providers may collect your IP address, browser type, pages visited and similar technical data, and may use cookies to keep the site working and secure.

How we use information

  • To respond to your questions and requests, and to provide housing counseling, classes and other services.
  • To register you for classes and events and to contact you about them.
  • To process and acknowledge donations and to thank our supporters.
  • To protect the site from spam and abuse, and to keep it working properly.
  • To meet legal and program reporting requirements, including those that apply to HUD-approved housing counseling agencies.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site and our programs, such as our website host, our email and form tools, spam filtering, translation (GTranslate), and Zeffy for donations; with funders or regulators when required for our programs or by law; and when you ask us to.

Forms and email

Information you submit through our forms is emailed to AHF staff and is also saved in our website’s database so we can follow up. Please do not send sensitive information, such as Social Security numbers or bank account numbers, through the general contact form. Your counselor will tell you how to share documents safely.

Cookies and third-party services

Our site uses cookies that are needed for it to work, and services such as Google Fonts, GTranslate and Zeffy may set their own cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the site may not work as well.

How long we keep information

We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires.

Your choices

You can ask us to update or delete the information you gave us through our website by contacting us at the address below, and you can ask us to stop sending you email.

Children

Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
